Miriam Kopyto
Miriam graduated from Yale University in 2023 with her Bachelors of Science in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry. She joined the Granger group as a research associate in June 2023, and is focused on developing synaptic tracing methods in mice to understand cellular connections in the brains of schizophrenia mouse models.
Prior to joining the Granger Lab, Miriam performed basic immunology research with Dr. David Schatz at Yale University. She also performed clinical research in Multiple Sclerosis with Dr. Erin Longbrake. Miriam was also involved in mental health advocacy throughout college and is interested in researching the neurological and biological basis of mental illness.
